The irregular but highly organised stone barricade is eye catchy. It is definitely a centre of attraction. You cannot help but marvel at the effort put in in constructing such a masterpiece. Victor, a retiree managing the garden, mentioned that all these stones were collected from construction sites which he painstakingly and patiently stacked to create the blockade.
Even the shed was constructed from donated materials from kind-hearted souls. 
You can see culinary herbs like curry, lime with a caterpillar on the leaf....
Chinese herbs like益母草Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet is an herb apt for the ladies. 主治：活血调经，利尿消肿。用于月经不调，痛经，经闭，水肿尿少；急性肾炎水肿. These are the young seedlings grown in recycled water bottles....
With a bit of creativity, growing long bean is no sweat at all......
How about some buds getting ready to burst before your eyes....
Victor shows us an innovative way to propagate plants by stem cutting. He soaks the tip of stem in water, when the roots develop he will transplant them in pots of soil....
At the corner of the garden, Victor allocated a small plot of land for the breeding of butterflies. He is seen here making a netted enclosure for the caterpillars to grow without the thread from predators.
Now.... who says gardeners and insects are arch-enemies.... Can you spot the caterpillar nibbling the leaves away...
In the heat of 'Saving Gaia', what this little garden exhibits is immense. Recycling of waste material, Reducing wastage and Reusing of products but most importantly, RECREATE. With the rising of temperature of our environment, one of the best solutions is to plant more trees/plants to cut down the amount of Carbon Dioxide. By putting more plants in our environment we can create a cooler surrounding.
Roselle(Hibiscus sabdariffa), 落神葵, the calyxes of the fruit when made into drinks is diuretic (利尿). 
Prunella vulgaris (夏枯草) when infused as a medicinal tea, is excellent for the treatment of fevers, diarrhea, sore mouth and throat and herpes....
Yummy .... fruits like banana and star fruit can be seen too..... 
How about some red hot chilli to spice things up........

No deliberate action is taken to terminate the small creatures. They were allowed to feast on the plants freely.
We often overlook the importance of greenery and wildlife in our living environment . If each one of us could pause awhile to appreciate what Mother Earth has provided for us, perhaps Saving Gaia is not that difficult after all.
