5th of May was an extraordnary day for our kindies! The farm was visited by 5 pre-school kids signing up various tour packages offered by the Farm.
Arrival of the 1st batch - Tampines Mosque Kindergarten.
Kids from Elfa Learning Centre made a quick stop at the Harvesting Centre, taking a peek at how the workers were packing the vegetables for our local supermarts. 
Look how attentive all the kindies were. Even the parents who tagged along gave undivided attention to our instructor.

Sweet basil is one of the main culinary herbs that is grown in Oh' Farms. The kindies get to taste it fresh from the greenhouse. Due to the strong taste of the herb, most of them frown with the first encounter.
Next, the kindies get to taste rocket (arugula), another culinary herb in our production line. This herb is peppery but comes with a strong nutty taste. The kindies were asked to taste and single out the nutty taste. It was an easy task and all managed without a sweat. What a sensual experience!
The cool air from the Cold Room was another great experience for the kindies. All of them were thrilled by the sudden chill from the Cold Room. Some of them even scream with excitment.
Touching is one of the best way to learn. For the kindies, touch and feel plus smell would definitely leave a long lasting impression.
Crops ready to be harvested. So healthy and mouth watering vegetables awaiting to be tasted.
